Director of Curriculum

Charlotte Kim is the Director of Curriculum at Model UN Academy, the world’s largest youth-led educational Model UN nonprofit, with 18,000 students across 101 countries. As Director of Curriculum, she’s currently working on advancing and improving the comprehensive written guides.

Charlotte has been invited to speak in front of members of the UN Office on Sustainable Development (UNOSD) and former Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon. She placed 1st in the Ideas for Change Contest (2024) under the 8th Youth Forum on Sustainable Development Goal Implementation hosted by the UN Project Office on Governance (UNPOG). At school, she’s the President of the Global Issues Network branch at Seoul International School.

An experienced leader with international Model UN organizations, Charlotte serves as the Director of Online Operations for the Diplomacy and Leadership Model UN Foundation (DLMUN). There, she hosted six conferences as a member of the Secretariat, totaling over 2,000 registrations. She’s also the standing Secretary General of the DLMUN Climate Summit (DLMUNCS).

In addition, Charlotte has served as the Deputy Secretary General for the past four iterations of Junior Online Model UN and the Student Moderating Team Lead for Online Model UN, both of which are branches of MUN Impact.

Charlotte has earned 8 awards and attended 27 conferences. She’s chaired 12 conferences, including for Yale Model UN. In her free time, Charlotte enjoys painting, drawing, and getting lost in a good book.
