CHLOE KIZITO
Director of Global Engagement
Chloe Kizito is the Director of Global Engagement at Model UN Academy, an edtech nonprofit that's engaged over 18,000 students worldwide with 1.5 million words of free resources on diplomacy through Model UN. As Director of Global Engagement, she hosted the inaugural sessions for the free Masterclass and served as a Model UN Academy delegate while speaking at the United Nations ECOSOC Youth Forum.
Chloe conducts research on gene editing bacteria to work as treatments for IBDs. She’s presented research at science fairs for years and won five awards for academic excellence in research. She’s also been selected to participate in highly prestigious engineering and medical summer programs at Santa Clara University and the University of Toronto.
Chloe is the President of St. John’s-Kilmarnock School’s Model UN team, where she mentors and leads over 40 delegates. She’s attended conferences such as Yale Model UN and won awards such as a Diplomatic Commendation at Harvard Model UN. She was also the first person from her high school to win a Best Delegate award at an international conference.
As a recipient of the Director’s Award for Citizenship and Daniel Wilhelm Service Award, Chloe’s dedicated to bridging scientific inquiry with international dialogue and youth leadership.
