LAYA KRISHNA
Fellowship Director
Laya Krishna is the Fellowship Director at Model UN Academy, the world’s largest youth-led educational Model UN nonprofit, with 17,000 students across 101 countries. She’s led the Fellowship since its launch, supporting leadership and initiative for Fellows all around the world.
Laya is the Founder of Launch Link, a youth-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides student entrepreneurs and organizations with platforms to expand their visions. She’s also participated in research at the College of New Jersey on neural engineering and creating computational models.
Laya has helped secure consistent top 10 national rankings as a delegate for West Windsor-Plainsboro High School North Model UN. She has attended 5 conferences (2x international qualifier) and earned 3 awards (2 international), most notably at Princeton and Georgetown’s signature Model UN conferences. She also served as the Under Secretary General of Press and co-chair at a regional Model UN conference in New Jersey.
Driven by her experience of empowering global leaders through Launch Link and the Model UN Academy Fellowship, Laya is committed to advancing innovative solutions for a more just and equitable future.
