Director of Programs

Sharmagne Bacongallo is the Director of Programs at Model UN Academy, the world’s largest youth-led educational Model UN nonprofit, with 18,000 students across 101 countries. As Director of Programs, she currently authors the comprehensive modules for the Model UN Academy Fellowship and spearheads substantive discussions to ensure in-depth comprehension of the material among Fellowship Cohort II.

Sharmagne is currently studying within the Humanities and Social Sciences Strand at Assumption Antipolo. She’s the Co-Founder of Batang May Alam Philippines, a youth-led NGO working to make quality civic education accessible. She was the youngest delegate at both the ASEAN Youth Sustainability Forum and the Republic of Korea and ASEAN Connectivity Forum and the first Sustainability Officer of her school’s Student Council.

Sharmagne has also established herself as a consistent and effective head delegate across multiple major conferences, most notably Harvard WorldMUN and Philippine International MUN. She has garnered recognition for her exemplary performance, securing awards such as Best Presenter, Best Position Paper, and Best Delegate.
