Director of Recruitment

Xavier Rolston (he/him) is the Director of Recruitment at Model UN Academy.

Xavier is a student at Cornell University, where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations. His primary interests surround conflict resolution and negotiation, criminal justice, and workplace hiring equity. He has focused much of his research on the impacts of labor policies on recidivism rates, and formal versus informal sector employment access.

Xavier is an active member of the Cornell Model UN travel team, and previously served on their conference secretariat as Chief of Staff. Outside of Model UN, Xavier is involved with Cornell Outdoor Education as a rock climbing and backpacking instructor, works as a debate coach, and works as a marketing and media intern for Cornell Athletics. His experience also includes serving as the logistics manager and media manager of the Manzimbingolo Suspension Bridge project, a partnership between Cornell University, Engineers in Action, and the Kingdom of Eswatini Ministry of Economic Planning and Development’s Microprojects Programme.

Xavier is thrilled to be on the Model UN Academy team, helping make this impactful activity more accessible, and encouraging students around the world to find their passions for diplomacy and problem-solving.
